Ask it shall be given to you.

If ye ask anything in my name, I will do it. (John 14.14)

This verse is clear, it comes with no exceptions. God is faithful and true. The only requirement is that you believe with your whole heart and soul that God has already begun work on what you have prayed for. I tell you the truth, you can say to this mountain, 'May you be lifted up and thrown into the sea,' and it will happen. But you must really believe it will happen and have no doubt in your heart. God answers all our prayers, even before we begin praying. (Isaiah 65:24) “I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers.” Here God is telling us that He is always working. He knows all our needs and His will is already being done. We need to remove all doubt from our being. So when we pray and ask God, we need to know and believe that our requests have already been answered. Mark 7:7 "Keep asking, and it will be given to you. Keep searching, and you will find. Keep knocking, and the door will be opened for you.” So why bother to pray if God already knows what our needs are? God wants to have a relationship with us. No two people can have a relationship without daily open and honest communication. 

Therefore we pray and talk to God on a daily basis, just like we talk and communicate with other people in our lives. Prayer is open communication between us and our Heavenly Father. God wants, HE yearns to have a relationship with His people. In Deut 7:7-8 we see that God chooses and loves us: “The LORD did not set His love on you nor choose you because you were more in number than any other people, for you were the least of all peoples; but because the LORD loves you…” NKJV He wants us to seek Him: Acts 17:27 “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward Him and find Him—though He is not far from any one of us”. 

So if you haven't started your relationship with Christ yet, or it's been a while since you two have spoken, go in to your prayer closet now and get in touch with Him. No cell phone required. The only energy needed is your will. I pray you do. God bless. Peace be with you.
