Prayer for setting priorities

Lord God I thank you for the blessings you have given me, especially in recent weeks. Guide my steps and lead me to your arms always. Thank you for your wisdom and peace. I ask that you keep me focus on the things that pleases you and that I may cherish and never take for granted each and every blessing. I love you and know that your love for me is everlasting. Thank you for guiding my steps and opening the doors needed so I may be used fully for the Kingdom. May I receive all your blessings with humbleness and wisdom. Let me put my life in the proper order and realize that everything I am, everything I have stems from you. Amen

Remembering John

"Well, I see they still let just anyone in here." That's what I would say to Pastor John as I "accidentally" tapped his leg with my wheelchair. John would smile, bend over and give me one of his great big strong hugs. He was the real thing, he loved God, his family and his church. He shared his big heart with everyone. NO ONE was a stranger to John. I miss him, very much. It's been less then a week that he went home to be with the Lord. Today I will be going to the Wednesday night ASL class, preceded by the weekly church dinner. It will be very hard to enter that building and know that John won't be there. But is that really true? Can I really say that John won't be there tonight? John touched so many lives. His legacy is within every inch of New Beginnings Christian Church. Waiting

If you follow me on Facebook, you know that I'm in need of a wheelchair accessible vehicle. I created a GoFundMe account, entered various contests, gone door to door asking support from strangers and I even wrote a short note to The ELLEN Show. I still have not been blessed with this need. NEED? Is it really a need? The Bible says that God will provide all of our needs according to His riches (Phil 4:16). So if this is true, then where is my vehicle? I felt God say to me, "I'm building something in you, something that will be needed for the future." I believe there is something more that God is expecting of me. What that is, will be revealed in another blog post. I've always believed that God's got my back, no matter what. I've been through a lot within the past four years.
